Meet Ahsanul

Ahsanul Hafiz

When Ahsanul Hafiz came to Canada over 25 years ago, he arrived in Scarborough with big dreams and a strong work ethic. He started from the ground up, working a minimum wage job as a delivery driver while studying to build a future for himself and his family.

Hafiz holds a degree in Mathematics and went on to purchase his first small business. Today, he is a successful entrepreneur who owns and operates multiple small businesses. Through his work, he has created jobs and provided opportunities for youth across the province.

Hafiz lives here in Scarborough Southwest with his wife and two sons. He remains deeply connected to the community, regularly attending local events, listening to residents, and lending a hand to those in need.

Hafiz understands the pressures families are facing because he has lived them himself. Doug Ford and his Conservative government have ignored Scarborough for too long. Hafiz will fight back by pushing for safer communities, faster transit timelines, and a more affordable future for Scarborough families.

He knows Scarborough Southwest, and he's ready to fight for it at Queen's Park.

Priorities Shaped by Experience

Ford has neglected Scarborough for too long — cutting OSAP, failing to invest in housing, and watching delay after delay on transit, all while focusing on private jets, mega-projects for donors, and insider deals.

Hafiz has lived the Scarborough story, and will fight for affordability, jobs, education, healthcare, safer streets, and integrity in government — because these are the things that gave him the chance to build a successful life in Ontario.
